Crafting Brand Colors, Typography, and Layout for a Jewelry Brand’s Shopify Site

BACKGROUND
After years of flourishing through Etsy and makers’ markets, Tahitian pearl jewelry company, Keshi Co, reached out to me to take their brand to the next level.
They needed a website where retail customers could browse their premium, handcrafted products and wholesale clients could connect and identify with their brand.
Expanding on their existing logo and stunning photography, I helped develop a brand color system, typography, and implemented a Shopify website with the custom brand elements to elevate the shopping experience, positioning Keshi Co as a premium player in the jewelry space.
ABOUT KESHI CO
Sourced from the atolls of French Polynesia and crafted in the islands of Hawai‘i, each piece of Keshi Co jewelry is a celebration of the beauty of Pacific islands. Made for mermaids at heart, the brand’s ocean creations are inspired by the joy found in wild places and the sense of adventure that led to the journey to Keshi Co.
Owner and designer Molly started Keshi Co during a five-year period spent sailing through the islands of French Polynesia. During this time, she developed an intricate understanding of the black pearl farming industry. To this day, Molly continues to purchase each and every Tahitian pearl used at Keshi Co personally in French Polynesia, where they’re grown on family-run farms that provide economic support to remote island communities.
Brand Color & Typography System
Inspired by the natural beauty of French Polynesia, the brand’s color palette features soft, grounding neutrals and rich greens that reflect the islands’ landscapes, while deeper tones echo the shifting hues of Tahitian pearls.
Paired with elegant, timeless typography, the new visual system was designed to complement Keshi Co’s existing logo and imagery, creating a cohesive brand expression that captures its connection to nature, adventure, and enduring beauty.
